Our Future and Wanted Animals

This page is dedicated to all the animals we hope to have in the near future or later on down the road! Those wanted in a near future will be marked.

*We are currently in need of a companion Goat kid preferably large and dehorned (kinder, boar, nubian, kiko, etc) bottle fed greatly appreciated!

Appalusian (Wanted)

We are looking for our first Appalusian! Either Stallion, Gelding, Mare, Colt, or Filly. Must have Appy Characteristics and we would prefer The Appaloosa have little QH, TB or Arab bloodlines. Must mature to at least 15.1hh+ and be conformationally correct (Heavy Andalusian or Lusitano influence) Sound and sane! If Stallion, Mare, Colt or Filly will allow a limited time breeding rights and foal(s) back to owner! NON-GREYING And NO PAINT QUALITIES!

My Barn Animals

These are the animals that will have no part in breeding a/o riding but loved and will be an essential part of the program!

File:A zonky.jpg Zeedonk: I will call him Stripes I would probably have gone with Zebra but they are highly untractable and show affection through biting. Donkeys look very similar with wild asses even having the lower leg stripes! So I figure get the stripes without the wild!

Spotted Jack- Whats not to love about a spotted jack it a donkey with spots! Since He is so loud I'll keep his name simple Spot.

mini-mule named Mollie or if it's a boy named Benjamin Dover, Ben Dover, bend over get it funny right!I know I know corny but I just couldnt resist! To tell you the truth I may have more than one! There are just so many different color combinations, paint, appy, roan, cream, silver, champaigne, black, bay, chestnut, etc. So many choices!

mini-donkey: Name is Intelligent Derriere! Smarty or IQ for short. They are just so cute small!

minature horse and small pony- I'm going for unique colors so champagne/pearl and silver dapple and cream combos all the way! Not exactly sure on names but something like Belle and Beast  or Gracie and Grayson, Nickel & Dime, Ebony & Amber etc.

Click to view full size imageMiniature Brahma Cattle- I have never really been a fan of cows but how can you resist a cow so small and cute? I think if it's girl her name will be of the flower variety if a boy Ferdinand without a doubt will be his name! I can just see it now, Little kids on the minis rounding up the cows!

Goats-Nigerian Dwarf, Pgymy, Fainting, Nubian, Boer, kiko, Saanen, Kinder, etc. I think I'm going to go with a patriotic theme; Dixie, Yankee, Danny Boy, Uncle Sam, Patriot, Confederate, Red, Blue, America, Colony, etc. Probably one of each. They are so cute and funny, and ever so sweet! If I thought I could get away with it I would keep them in the backyard of my neighborhood!

Perhaps an Indian Peafowl (Pavo cristatus, also known as the Common Peafowl or the Blue Peafowl) named Argus and few Female Guinea Hens I think I'll call them gorgons.

Guinea Fowl 26th March 2006

I'll definately have cats but probably no more than 2-3 and most likely I will adopt/rescue them. I would like one Calico, one Tabby and one White cat all spayed/neutered. Named Patch, Tigger, and Cotton respectively.

Sunflower the barn cat

Depending on whether or not I live at the barn there just might be another cat and barn dogs as well.

Ragdoll male Cat kept inside named Ghillie Dubh and two dogs

a tibetan mastiff male named Shomer

A Tibetan Spaniel female named Angel.

Guinea Pigs

And my Guinea Pigs; Hope, Faith, Love, Joy, Grace, and Will. Hopefully one of each breed. Theses are strictly indoor pets and will be with me though I may get a few more for the camp.
